Medicine Bow was acquired by Skyline Renewables in 2019. Medicine Bow used to be one of the many NASA research facilities and was one of the very first repowered wind farms in the US.
Medicine Bow Wind is located in Carbon County, Wyoming, approximately 80 miles outside of Cheyenne.
Powers 2,000 homes and avoids 14,000 metric tons of carbon dioxide per year.
The project consists of nine repowered wind turbines with a total capacity of 6 megawatts.
